What's not to love about the Black Knight? Professional service, cozy pub atmosphere, amazing hot meals (especially on those cold af days). Never had a bad experience here.

Best fish and chips! The batter is just the right amount with a hint of beer taste. Seafood chowder is also great and goes well with the deep fried fish.

Better Calamari than I expected! And the IPA on tap was very decent. Got busy for happy hour on a Wednesday. Not bad Yellowknife. Not bad at all...

The beer was cold and the waitress was excellent plus very informative. As it turned out the Black Knight seemed to be a very popular spot with the locals as the crowd increased in time. Compared with some other places in Old Town the prices were more reasonable for beer and food. As a bonus, we happened to be there at the same time that the band The Sheepdogs were practicing upstairs. They were in Yellowknife for a show later that evening upstairs and the sound was great downstairs in the bar. As for food the onion rings were good, unfortunately the chicken wings tasted like they had freezer burn. All in all a very pleasant experience.

The Cottage Pie was impressive. The Chicken poutine special was excellent along with my guest's BK burger. Best onion rings in town. Had some trouble with the beer selection but I landed on something. Fun time and great service.

Pints are $10, but you're WAY up north so... Nonetheless, great Irish Pub with dark wood, fancy clean bathrooms and they throw an amazing St. Patrick's Day party.

Great Atmosphere and great food. Everything from the ever changing curry specials to their bestter than East Coast Chowder (Friday Special!). The BK is a weekly must.

Great bar and wings

Had the crispy chicken burger, and it was amazing. It just works. Will definitely have that again next time I'm there. Tasty sandwich.. I'd recommend it to anyone going there to eat.

Went for the brunch. Ordered the Egg Benny on crab bread. Delicious.

I visited the pub on a Saturday night. The steak was great with five extra prawns and a FREE glass of wine (red or white) or a bottle of domestic beer. The desert was nice too. Compared to the other steak houses in town, you definitely get more for less, so I will keep visiting the place.

I enjoyed it. I got the Black Knight Burger which is a little on the spicy side. - Which I love. It was pretty busy for lunch but that's to be expected. The lights were a little low for my liking but I would definitely go back. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Good wings, the policy of charging you to take home leftovers is quite peculiar.

Amazing atmosphere. The wings on Wings Night (Wednesdays) are tasty. At $4 for 6 wings, they are good value for money also. The servers are very nice and efficient. Orders are prepared quickly even during peak hours. The calamari rings and fries pickles were disappointing. Hopefully they'll be better next time.

If your in the town check it out no complaints here love it

Wonderful little pub. Food is great and the selection of beer is good too. Wednesday wing nights are where it's at (the YK Gold are outstanding). Beer prices are steep, but that's par for the course in Yellowknife. They have live music upstairs too!

We have been here a few times on our stay and have enjoyed every visit.The food is good pub food (note that there is a limited menu for Sat brunch and veggie choices are not great), the service is fast and cheerful and they have good music. Both the Thu jam session upstairs and Saturday nights Celtic music were great fun.

A great place to sit, drink, and listen to music. It's definitely got great food and the whole bar is aesthetically nice. Their mints are stellar and the only beef I've got is that they got rid of their mac and cheese which was godly. Maybe one day it'll return revised but the place is still top notch. Has a lotta wing flavours and their specials are always pretty neato. I'd white knight for the black knight

The food was super, although a bit pricey. But you have quite a plate for your money ! There was also a band playing in the background. I thought the steak was good.

Good food and a lively atmosphere made this a great place for a middle of the day meal. Our food was served promptly by a very pleasant server. She checked back regularly and seemed genuinely interested in the quality of our dining experience.

I was there for wing night. Great wings, great service, great atmosphere. There was a yellow mustard wing sauce that I highly recommend.

Good food good prices friendly and courteous staff

Good food for the most part. I am being generous with my star score because I was very hungry, tired, and with a large group and I understand that it effected my perception of the place. I got the beyond meat burger and added cheddar and "guacamole." Be aware their guac is not in fact guac, but rather a mostly flavorless avocado paste. A bit brown too, clearly not mashed (blended seems more likely) very recently. If they had advertised avocado paste as the topping I would have not ordered it and the review would be 5 stars, but as it is, my one complaint I can definitely say is not colored by my state of mind is this mislabelling. Also they had a few beers unavailable but I don't really care about that as the beers unavailable were not ones I would have ordered anyway. I suppose as a pub they ought to always have a good selection, but I wasn't really bothered by that as much as the so-called guacamole.Long story short: avocado does not equal guacamole .

Phase II of COVID-19 rules for reopening effectively implemented. Selection of draft beers is currently limited, but draft beer along with bottled beer is available. Same cheery hospitality and excellent management makes dining enjoyable. Lots of takeout orders noticeably being picked up and heading out the door. Patio sidewalk area seeing a lot of traffic too.

By far one of the best places I had ate, and continued to come back to eat in Yellowknife. Atmosphere was like I was back in PEI. The trout hands down was absolutely amazing.

Cool place. Definitely stop in. The food was really good. The beer prices were very fair, just wish maybe a little more to choose from. Overall very satisfied and will be going back.
